In this episode of the Midweek Takeaway, we are joined by Colin Bird to discuss the latest news from Xtract Resources Plc (XTR), which has reported strong assay results from the first three diamond drill holes at its Silverking Project in Zambia’s Mumbwa District. The project, under a joint venture agreement with Oval Mining, allows Xtract to earn up to a 70% interest. Highlights include high-grade copper-silver intercepts such as 4.15% Cu and 42.91g/t Ag over 29.7m from SKIDD003, 3.18% Cu and 40.32g/t Ag over 54.1m from SKIDD002, and 0.74% Cu and 8.33g/t Ag over 23.0m from SKIDD001. Drilling has tested mineralisation down to 200m, with plans to extend to 400m, while metallurgical work continues to optimise recovery.
